CED-IADR Summer School 2026
Biological Evaluation of Dental Biomaterials
July 6 to 10, 2026, Coimbra, Portugal
The ‘CED-IADR Summer School’ programme is a place for young researchers to learn and improve their laboratory research methods, to network with other young CED-IADR members, and to socialise with prominent scientists in the field.
CED-IADR kindly invites young researchers to join us in Coimbra, Portugal in 2026!
This intensive summer school “Biological Evaluation of Dental Biomaterials“ offers a focused introduction to evaluating the biological performance of dental biomaterials. Over one week, participants will learn core principles, explore biomaterial-biological interactions, and gain hands-on experience with evaluation techniques.
The programme blends lectures, lab work, and workshops led by expert faculty. Topics include biocompatibility, cellular responses, in vitro and in vivo methods, and regulatory aspects. By the end, attendees will have both theoretical insight and practical skills for research in dental biomaterials.
